The prompt for this video was a small narrative about a manager confiding in her supervisor about troubles she had encountered with her subordinates.  We removed the supervisor and shifted the narrative so that the conflict would take place in the present, rather than in the past. 

Inspired by the limited animation techniques and narrative storybook style of the UPA short "The Invisible Moustache of Raoul Dufy," mid-century modern influences, and a few art direction details from mid-90s cartoon backgrounds.
